EXAMINATION INFO

      General Norms of Examination      

* The school follows assessment pattern according to CBSE norms.

* It is mandatory for the students to appear in all the examination during the academic year.

* A student will be awarded an average if he/she is absent due to Medical exigency, submission of proper documentation is mandatory for consideration by the school authorities.

* There is no provision for reassessing students, who remain absent on the day of assessments, for any of the reason. Request for change in assessments dates or timings will not be entertained.

* Students reporting late for assessment will not be given any extra time for answering the question paper.

* Students found using any unfair means during assessments, will be given zero in that subject. In such a case the child will not be eligible for any academic award.

* Request for the issue of Progress Report before the declaration of annual result will not be entertained. 

* No student shall be eligible to take the examination unless he/she has completed 75% of the total required attendance.

* Students will be required to bring the Admit Card during the days of exam. The admit cards are issued by the school when all the dues have been cleared.

* Promotion to the next higher class will be given as per the CBSE rule.

EXAMINATION  AND  EVALUATION  POLICY

As per the CBSE rules, the child is assessed throughout the year through regular assessments of Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas. In Scholastic areas, the child is evaluated in subjects specific areas. In co-scholastic areas the child is evaluated in life skills, attitudes and values and other co-curricular activities which includes a variety of tools and techniques for assessment of learners.

A. Scholastic performance : Both marks and grades will be awarded for individual subjects.

B. Co-Scholastic performance : Grades will be awarded for non-scholastic performances in following categories: 1. Art Education 2. Health and Physical Education (Sports/Yoga) 3. Music 4. Dance

C. Discipline : Grades will be awarded to students after evaluating their commitment to discipline which includes attendance, sincerity, behaviour and values.

Studentswillbeobservedandassessedcontinuouslyandcomprehensivelythroughouttheyearonthebasisof

a. Skill Enhancement Activities

b. Worksheet and Assignments Grades/Remarks will be sent to the parents on monthly basis.

* The academic year shall be divided into two terms (Term-1 -April 2023 to September 2023) (Term-2 - October 2023 to March 2024)

* The students will be assessed continuously and comprehensively throughout the year on the basis of PeriodicTests and Term EndExamination.

* The school will conduct three Periodic Tests and two Terms Examination throughout the year.

* There will be two Evaluations of Art, Music, Dance and Physical Education through out the session.

 * G.K. and Computer written exam will be conducted.
